Sunday, December 25, 2011 (Christmas Day) - Sunday Ascent CoDA Group burrito potluck (4:00-6:00 p.m.) and meeting (6:00-7:30 p.m.). Please bring your favorite thing to go in, on, or with a burrito. June 3-5, 2011 - Join us Friday through Sunday (ends at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday) for a CoDA campout at Chatfield State Campground in Littleton, CO. The weekend will include fellowship, fun and outdoor relaxation with impromptu meetings Friday night, Saturday noon, and Sunday morning. Bring your camping gear, food, and supplies for the weekend.
COSTS:
Campers: $35.00 per tent and $8.00 per vehicle/per day park pass
Non Campers: $10.00 per person/per day and $8.00 per vehicle/per day park pass
If you have a CO State Parks Pass you do not have to pay the $8.00 per vehicle/per
day park pass fee

Did you know . . .
1. CoDA will turn 20 years old on October 22nd, 2006.
2. We have a state board that is made up of members from Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
3. Service work is a vital part of the health and continuance of the fellowship as well as to ones own personal growth.
4. In November CoDA will be introducing a daily meditation book titled In This Moment that was authored by CoDA members.
5. Any member of CoDA can be involved in committee work on a national level with other CoDA members from around the country.
6. 7th traditions are down from 2005 by $10,000.00.
7. That it is suggested that a group keep ONLY a prudent reserve of 3 months expenses while distributing the rest up to the local, state and national levels. In Colorados case the remaining donations should be divided 65% to state and 35% to CoDA Inc.
8. CoDA has its own publishing company that does our printing called CoRE.
9. We have a fellow member from Colorado that serves as Secretary on CoDAs Board of Trustees.
10. Colorado will be the host of the 2008 CoDA Service Conference.
11. We are forming a conference committee to help host the International CoDA community. We need your help.
12. You can be a pen pal to CoDA members in prisons and institutions.
13. Fifty-two countries hold CoDA meetings.
14. CoDA held its bi-annual CoDA Convention in Texas last May. 116 people attended. The next convention will be held in the summer of 2008 in Vancouver, B. C. Canada.
15. Each Colorado meeting is allowed 2 voting voices at our State Board Meetings. You can get involved by sending a group representative and an alternate to our bi-monthly meeting held on the third Sunday of every month. (See meeting list under Sunday meetings for details).
16. California has now split into 2 voting entities due to the amount of meetings in the state. (2800 WOW) Now NorCal and SoCal both get to have 2 state delegates represented at the CODA Service Conference.
17. We had only 8 people register for the fall Breckenridge Retreat to celebrate CoDAs birthday on October 20-22, 2006. Still hoping to pull in together. The cost $150.00 per person. Call 303-264-7204.
18. Colorado State and CoDA Inc both have new updated websites.. www.coloradocoda.org and www.CoDA.org.
19. We have 4 open service positions on the Colorado Board, Infoline chair, Website chair, possible Outreach chair and now an open State Delegate position.
20. Colorado just sent 2 delegates to the 2006 CoDA Service Conference in September in Phoenix, Arizona.
21. We need you to get active in Colorado; we have a big state and not a lot of meetings to reach the still suffering Codependent. We are making things happen for CoDA in Colorado, get involved!
If these facts were interesting to you, please plan on attending our open house to learn more about service opportunities that are available. We will be providing a Bar-B-Que and it would be helpful if you would bring a side dish to share. We will have a CoDA meeting followed by the Community business meeting. Has CoDA improved the quality of your life? Its time to get into action. Our primary purpose awaits us. Come be a part of growing CoDA in Colorado.

Sunday, October 16, 2005 - Hike at Pine Valley Ranch (outside of conifer on 285) from 11-4. It was a beautiful day and great hike!
Sunday, September 18, 2005 - Our 2005 Annual Picnic was held at Morse Park in Lakewood, Colorado. It was followed by our monthly intergroup meeting.
Saturday, June 14, 2003 - Our 2003 Sponsorship Workshop was a enlightening day of learning, sharing and growing in the area of sponsorship. A captivating speaker from Al-Anon shared his experience, strength and hope about being a sponsor and having a sponsor. He was truly an inspiration! There is continual interest in Coda sponsorship and this workshop got the conversation started on a community level. Newcomers as well as long timers are are encouraged to keep the conversation going!
Saturday, January 25, 2003 - Our 2003 Winter Workshop "Stepping Forward", was a wonderful day of learning, recovery and music. There were about 40 in attendance, and for the close, Chuck Pyle entertained us with his recovery oriented music and lyrics. It was thoroughly entertaining!

July 19-21, 2002 - Our fourth annual spring retreat, "Camp Coda", was held at Golden Bell Camp, near Divide, Colorado. Speakers included Dan S. and Kathy H.
Saturday, November 10, 2001 - The fall workshop, "Renewing Recovery", was a fine, fine day of discussion, workshop, prayer and music. Somewhat more than 30 of us were there. At the closing, Jana S. , from Nashville, who just happened to be in Colorado performing concerts, gave us a wonderful musical finale.
Saturday, September 8, 2001 - Another wonderful summer picnic! The picnic was held at Cushing Park in Englewood. The skies were overcast but spirits were sunny! About 25-30 were in attendance and the turkey tradition was revived - thanks, Chris and A.J.!
May 4-6, 2001 - Our third annual spring retreat, "Camp Coda", was held at Golden Bell Camp, near Divide, Colorado. Speakers included CoDA's founders, Ken and Mary R.
