Did you know . . .

1. CoDA will turn 20 years old on October 22nd, 2006.

2. We have a state board that is made up of members from Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

3. Service work is a vital part of the health and continuance of the fellowship as well as to one’s own personal growth.

4. In November CoDA will be introducing a daily meditation book titled “In This Moment” that was authored by CoDA members.

5. Any member of CoDA can be involved in committee work on a national level with other CoDA members from around the country.

6. 7th traditions are down from 2005 by $10,000.00.

7. That it is suggested that a group keep ONLY a prudent reserve of 3 months expenses while distributing the rest up to the local, state and national levels. In Colorado’s case the remaining donations should be divided 65% to state and 35% to CoDA Inc.

8. CoDA has it’s own publishing company that does our printing called CoRE.

9. We have a fellow member from Colorado that serves as Secretary on CoDA’s Board of Trustees.

10. Colorado will be the host of the 2008 CoDA Service Conference.

11. We are forming a conference committee to help host the International CoDA community. We need your help.

12. You can be a pen pal to CoDA members in prisons and institutions.

13. Fifty-two countries hold CoDA meetings.

16. California has now split into 2 voting entities due to the amount of meetings in the state. (2800…WOW) Now NorCal and SoCal both get to have 2 state delegates represented at the CODA Service Conference.

17. We had only 8 people register for the fall Breckenridge Retreat to celebrate CoDA’s birthday on October 20-22, 2006. Still hoping to pull in together. The cost $150.00 per person. Call 303-264-7204.

20. Colorado just sent 2 delegates to the 2006 CoDA Service Conference in September in Phoenix, Arizona.

21. We need you to get active in Colorado; we have a big state and not a lot of meetings to reach the still suffering Codependent. We are making things happen for CoDA in Colorado, get involved!

If these facts were interesting to you, please plan on attending our open house to learn more about service opportunities that are available. We will be providing a Bar-B-Que and it would be helpful if you would bring a side dish to share. We will have a CoDA meeting followed by the Community business meeting. Has CoDA improved the quality of your life? It’s time to get into action. Our “primary purpose” awaits us. Come be a part of growing CoDA in Colorado.
